Myself and my husband have always worked as a team and we have started and sold multiple businesses. We have had our ups and downs operating within a very volatile economy with draconian interest rates at times and so we know what it is to endure economic conditions such as those that are facing the world at this time.
A few years ago I ventured into the world of Multi Level Marketing. I was told by my upline that the way to build my business was to build my warm list of all my family and friends and contacts that I could think of and hold meetings, attend marketing events and calls. Cold call leads and hold one on one presentations, the WORKS!!
I went at it with all my energy, and gave it my best shot. I started to see growth and my residual income was shaping up. However, just as soon as I had started to see movement upwards, the attrition set in. People began dropping out, complaining that they could no longer afford the product, or the distributors had caught on to some new up and coming opportunity.
It was very discouraging to experience the withering and decaying of my downline!
